We booked two bungalows and were satisfied with the stay overall. The rooms were clean, and when we asked about the hot water, which wasn't working at first, it was fixed right away. One bungalow's air conditioning was quite weak, but it cooled enough for the night. Staff were nice, the breakfast was delicious, and the pool was reasonably clean. Lunch at the restaurant wasn't expensive, though the servings were small. That's typical of other island restaurants too, even the pricier ones. The accommodation is in a great location, with a wonderful sea view at lunch and a clean, tidy beach.

Everything we needed was right at the beach in one place: a dive school, snorkeling tour, restaurant, pool, and bar. The staff were super nice and organized whatever we needed, and all the services were as good as they could be. The price matched the quality perfectly. My one small suggestion would be to add a local breakfast option. There wasn't one, though the regular breakfast was good.

The bungalow bathroom had been tampered with while my daughter and her friends were out, and they also had power problems. They arrived to find dirty rooms and felt watched by a local group of men. Staff made their schoolies stay uncomfortable, and they did not feel safe. They checked out the next day. AVOID.

Breakfast was good, and the accommodation was clean. That was about the extent of the positives. The water was out when we arrived, so I had a cold shower. They said it would be fixed, but afterwards the temperature swung between very hot and very cold without adjustment. We also rented a bike with a faulty seat and returned it after 20 minutes. The owner wasn't there, so a bungalow employee took it back. When we came back two hours later, the owner asked us for money because the two of them hadn't communicated properly.

The staff were friendly and professional, and the beach was clean, with turtles to spot and a lovely sunset. The hotel is in a great spot in the north of gili air. Food was decent, though there are better options nearby. There's a diving center too.
