Royal Regantris Villa Karang

Ayipp was so friendly and responsive, and the service went beyond what I expected. I left my laptop behind, and he ran to the room to get it for me. Later, when I was back at the dock, he called and brought my friend's jacket over so he could hand it to me directly before I left. That’s real hospitality, and I highly recommend this hotel if you want comfort and security. One note for management: the cleanliness around the hotel needs more attention.

The location was our favorite part, it’s easy to reach and within walking distance of the pier. The pool needs cleaning, the rooms need repairs, especially the front doors, and the bathroom smelled bad.

The staff were really kind, and the room was big with a nice bathroom. It’s right by the sea, with movies in the evenings, and the boats are an easy walk away, so no horse wagon is needed. We stayed two nights, though the place has clearly seen better days. It needs a thorough clean and the garden needs care.

The grounds were lovely and the pool looked beautiful. But the check-in service could’ve been better, nothing was explained, including how to get drinks or where to eat. The hotel is clean, though a green bin stayed right outside our room. We didn’t get a great view, and there was a building site next door. You can’t swim at the beach in front because of all the boats, and snorkeling is better on the east side of the island. At this price, it feels a bit expensive.
