Meno Mojo Beach Resort

We had a great four-night family stay and would definitely come back. Our beach deluxe room had great facilities, comfortable bedding, and cold AC. The staff were attentive, and the hearty breakfast was amazing.

The showers used salt water, which might be because of the island's location. Aside from that, the service was good and the staff were always attentive. Breakfast was very good, and the hotel is conveniently close to the port and the turtle spot. I'd recommend staying here.

The snorkeling straight off the beach was amazing, with more kinds of fish than we've ever seen. We could also sit in the restaurant area and watch turtles surface while having the complimentary afternoon tea. The beach was right outside our Deluxe Beach Front room at Gili Meno Mojo Beach Resort. The room had tea and coffee making facilities, drinking water, efficient air conditioning, and a TV. The bed was very comfortable, and we both slept better than we had in ages. Chriest was helpful, checked that everything was okay, shared lots about Indonesian life, and arranged our onward travel. Jo and Linjang were friendly and always happy to chat. The chef made delicious meals. I especially liked the grilled mahi mahi fish, my husband loved the red fish curry, and breakfast was lovely too. The room was dirty, with visible grime and no attention to basic hygiene. There wasn't a pool, despite the listing, and the online photos were completely misleading. The place felt damp, neglected, and poorly maintained, with a disgusting moldy smell that made it hard to breathe comfortably. The bathroom was even worse. The drains gave off a strong, unbearable sewage-like stench, and the toilet was so filthy I couldn't imagine sitting on it. It was genuinely nauseating. This place falls far below an acceptable standard. I don't recommend it to anyone, and I honestly wonder where the positive ratings came from. Avoid it.
