Fantastic Cottages

The rooms are simple, with no luxury, but there’s a big bed, air conditioning and a mosquito net. The host was open and honest, and helped us with requests and problems like family. It’s easy to walk to the harbour in about 10 minutes, so we didn’t need a horse cart. Breakfast was tasty, especially the banana pancake, and came with refreshing juice plus different teas and coffees.

The photos on Booking don’t quite capture how beautiful the place is in person. It’s quiet, with lovely surroundings and a relaxing feel that made it easy to rest. The room was spotless, fresh-smelling and well looked after, which stood out to me in Indonesia. The owner was kind and helpful, and made delicious breakfast each morning. For the price, I thought it was fantastic value and would recommend staying here.

Mr Dean and his partner were on hand for anything we needed during our two nights, and even sent me off with a coconut, thanks Mr Dean! The room was clean and comfortable, with bottled water provided. Breakfast was fresh and included in the stay. At $40 per night AU, I couldn’t have asked for more. We’ll definitely return.

Eni was the best part of our stay. She welcomed us warmly and was such good company. The room had a big, comfortable bed, air conditioning and a fan. We also enjoyed sitting on the porch and relaxing in the lovely, peaceful garden. Thank you, Eni.
