Youpy Bungalows

The included breakfast was amazing, especially the fresh juice, but the state of the room was disappointing enough that we wanted to leave early. The place felt neglected and overpriced, even though the location was great. The bedsheets had what looked like insect droppings on them, and it kept reappearing after we cleaned the bed. The bed itself was uncomfortable. The room wasn’t clean: the bedside table was dusty, and the bathroom tap was dirty, clearly broken, and looked unhygienic. It also didn’t fit the bathroom. The pool looked cloudy and uninviting, and we didn’t feel comfortable using it. This was the most disappointing and most expensive stay of our island-hopping trip.

We booked two nights and ended up staying a week. The pool was fantastic, long enough for a proper swim, and the staff were so kind, greeting us whenever we came back. The friendly, very cute family of cats was the highlight. The beds were really comfy, the air con was perfect, and there was a beautiful sunrise right out front. Just be aware the showers use saltwater, like everywhere on the island.

The breakfast was perfect: fresh fruit juice, either a banana pancake or scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, and coffee or tea. It was a really affordable stay too, with spacious bedrooms and AC. We spent four days here with my friend, and the people and family who welcomed us were so kind the whole time. Whenever we came back from a walk or tour, they greeted us with “welcome home.” A top stay!

We planned four days and ended up staying 12 because we loved it so much. The bungalows are gorgeous and spacious, the pool is gorgeous, and those friendly little kittens are gorgeous too :) The bathroom was perfect, the staff were AMAZING, and the location was fantastic. Breakfast was superb. We’ll 10000000% be back, and highly recommend Youpy bungalows!
