Gili Shack 58 Bed & Breakfast

Shack 58 has its own beach gazebo, a lovely spot to sit for hours and watch the water. Turtles surfaced every few minutes, and with luck you might see baby sharks along the shore in the morning or evening. The sunrise there is incredible, while the sunset beach is just a short walk around the corner. The B&B is right on the water and within walking distance of the port, small shops, restaurants, and tourist rental stores. The owner and staff were very friendly and ready to help or offer guidance. A few island tips: bring rock shoes because dry coral can hurt your feet, and carry cash even though there are some ATMs on Meno. Gili Meno isn't a party island with loud music and lots of tourists, so it may not suit you if that's what you're after. For peace and relaxation, it's a great place.
