The staff were clean and friendly, but remote. The room was unbearably hot, and the air conditioner barely cooled it. The bed felt like a table to sleep on, and I actually dreamed I was doing just that. The interior lights were so dim you could hardly see, and the bathroom had no shelf space. There was no safe, and when I asked, they apologized and said it was too expensive to fix. No glasses, cups, water, or kettle either. We checked out and left. We’re usually easy to please, especially when people are doing their best, even if things aren’t great.

Please spend your money somewhere else. The AC was broken, there was no fan or toilet paper, and the only water was cold and salty. The toilet had problems, and ants were everywhere. Out front, the garden looked like a rubbish dump, reception was always empty, and service was very basic. There were some cute little cats, though 😆

Dayat and his wife Eka made me feel so welcome at Dea Gili Cottages. The room was spacious, peaceful and comfortable, and the beach is only a five-minute walk away. Breakfast was delicious, too. I also visited Dayat's sister Cita's Beach Restaurant Bongkas, which I liked just as much. It was lovely spending time with you all, and I’ll definitely return when I’m back in Gili Meno. Thank you! 🙏😍

The room was clean and nice, and the laundry service was good. Breakfast was tasty, and the restaurant food was very good, with meals served right to the room. There were mosquitoes, but fewer than at most places on the island.
