Good value and a great place to stay. There’s a good restaurant nearby, and the beach is very close. Check in at Blue Coral reception.

We paid 400,000 for a room after asking about availability when we arrived. On the way over, the woman told us there was no hot water, which we accepted. We went into the room without our bags and, before settling in, my husband took about two minutes to look at a nearby cabin run by a different host. It was more affordable and looked nicer, so we decided to switch. We went back to the owner of LJ Bungalow and asked to cancel, only about five minutes after paying. At first, she said we had made a booking and she would keep 100,000. We explained that we had only asked in person for a vacant room and had made no online reservation. She then said she would charge us 100,000 IDR because we had entered the room. We hadn't sat on the bed or used anything. Our suitcases and bags were still outside; we had just looked around. She continued to refuse a full refund, saying the charge was because we had gone inside. In the end she kept the money. We left without arguing further. We felt sorry for her. What would you have done in our place?

We had a lovely stay here. It’s quiet, the staff are friendly, and the food is good. The beach is right nearby, and we even snorkeled with turtles in the water in front of the accommodation. Highly recommended 😎
