Meno Dream Resort

We stayed in November and loved it. There’s plenty to choose from at breakfast, and everything was delicious. The pool was very clean, and you can rent bikes and scuba diving masks. It’s a perfect choice for soaking up the real Gili Meno vibe, with the beach just a short walk away. I hope we can come back one day and meet the Slovenian owner.

We spent four nights here, and it was just the relaxing hideaway we wanted. The staff were welcoming and accommodating, and helped us with boat times and snorkeling information. They also provided bikes. It’s a few minutes from the sunset side of the island. Breakfast was simple but really delicious. The shower water surprised us by being salty, but it honestly wasn’t a problem for a couple of nights. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

We stayed for six nights and loved the place. It’s a gorgeous spot on a magical island, with a vibe that feels uplifting and unlike anywhere else. The resort is peaceful, green, and full of charm. Everyone on staff was friendly, kind, and ready to help. A lovely place to relax and recharge. Highly recommended.

Getting around was easy from the resort. The harbor is within walking distance, and the west coast is a short bike ride away. The staff arranged good bikes for a fair price, and they had lights, which was useful because some parts of the island are dark at night. They also set up a private snorkeling trip for just the two of us, and it was fantastic. We appreciated the fresh water canister for brushing our teeth and washing our faces. The room felt fairly recent, although the furniture looked old, and the bathroom had a strong chemical smell. Hygiene was the main problem. Staff served breakfast barefoot, which felt unpleasant. On two mornings, we saw them go straight to preparing our food after wiping the toilet floor or doing gardening, without washing up. That was frankly off-putting. The laundry service was disappointing as well: our clothes came back crumpled and stuffed into the dirty bag. With better attention to hygiene, this could be a far more comfortable and enjoyable stay. As things are, it didn’t meet our expectations.
