The staff were lovely and went out of their way to help. Breakfast was good, the room was clean, and the Wi-Fi was strong. Bike hire was a good deal too, cheaper than what I saw on the main road. My only problem was the AC in my room. It barely worked, weaker than a fan on its lowest setting, though I think it may have just been that room.

The homestay itself was good, but the air conditioning stayed warm during all six nights I was there. The bathroom had no window, so it was full of mosquitoes, and water from the AC dripped into the shower. The damp smell was really strong. The boss needs to sort that bathroom out, maybe with a big fan or something, and check that all the air conditioners actually work since we pay for them. Thanks 👍

We left after about 30 minutes and couldn’t stay the three nights we’d booked. I was shown two other rooms as well, and they all had severe mould buildup and a heavy mould smell. Other reviews mentioned a damp bathroom smell that wasn’t too bad, but this was much worse. It needs professional cleaning. It was the worst smell and mould problem we came across in Indonesia.

The owners were lovely, and we had a really nice stay. Our room and bathroom were both spacious. There was only cold water, but in that heat it wasn’t much of an issue. I would have preferred a proper blanket instead of just a sheet.
