The room had an incredibly damp smell, and the pillows smelled of sweat. It was impossible to find anyone at the reception desk.

The rooms are decent for the price, but David is the best part. He's a great host and will help with whatever you need, whether that's showing you a good time or something else. You won't regret it!

The bathroom smelled a bit, though it's almost impossible to avoid that in Indonesia, so I don't really blame them. The homestay is in a great spot, near the city center but far enough away to be quiet at night. You also don't hear the mosques at night, which is a big plus. The staff are great and always available.

The room's layout is a bit of a problem. The cabinet sits right above the sink, making the wash basin difficult to use.

The place didn't look like the photos and was dirty, with ants and spiders on the bed. There wasn't a towel, and the electricity went out at 7am, so the fan stopped working and it got extremely hot. They couldn't understand English. They asked if I wanted breakfast, I said yes, then left after waiting over half an hour.
