The room was good for the price, and the air conditioning looked new. I liked the open-air bathroom, though in heavy rain you might as well shower while using the toilet, and mosquitoes are around. The host offered to help book a snorkelling trip or scooter, but I didn’t take them up on it. The bed creaks when you get up or move around a lot, and the room isn’t very soundproof. Locking the door is a bit of a hassle. Breakfast options were good enough for me.

The bungalows were clean and nice, and breakfast was very good, especially the banana pancakes and scrambled eggs. Best of all were host Dewa and his team. They were so friendly and helpful, which made our stay a great experience 👌

I saw that some people rate the location a bit lower, but it worked perfectly for us. It’s five minutes by bike to the center, so we avoided the tourist noise and the loud mosque noise, which was a huge plus. And five minutes by bike really is just five minutes. Amazing place and service.

A clean, chill place where you can do your own thing any time, and the staff are genuinely helpful. The pool-facing rooms have open bathrooms, which made for a unique and nice experience. It’s peaceful and quiet, but the location is the drawback: the harbor and Night Market are far, about ten minutes by cycle if you know the route, or a 20-25 minute walk. The island is small, so getting around gets easier after a trip or two. They only serve breakfast, so you’ll need to go to the Night Market area for other meals.
