The location is hard to beat. You can walk everywhere, but it’s far enough from the loud music and high backpackers to avoid being bothered by them. They’re clearly trying, and I think a few small changes could make this hotel amazing. Our room stayed really hot because the air conditioning wasn’t adequate. The mini fridge worked well, but the safe didn’t work at all, and the spare bed they brought in was as hard as a rock. The food wasn’t great, although the juices were good. Even after asking several times, I never got the fruit platter that was supposed to come with any of my three breakfasts. The pool was so dirty we couldn’t see the bottom, so we didn’t go in. The stars don’t match the service or food. Maybe the earlier reviews were fake, or perhaps the place has changed hands recently. Service was poor: we waited without menus and had to ask for cutlery. The fried rice looked like an Uncle Ben's microwave pack, with dry rice and hardly any chicken. The beef tacos tasted good, but there was so little of it that they should have been called meat tacos. At least they can’t mess up bottled beer!

😨 The bed wasn’t clean, with toothpaste on the pillow, and there was lots of dust in the room. The bathroom had calcification, and rainwater came through the bathroom ceiling when it rained. 😁 It’s low cost and right by the beach, with a good location for getting around and near Turtle Point. Breakfast is free, and there’s a refrigerator, hot water, and air conditioning.

The location is perfect, but the room needs a makeover. There was mould on the sink and toilet, the flush didn’t work, and neither did the Wi-Fi. The shower had very low water pressure.

The resort was quiet and clean, and our room was spacious, comfortable, and clean too. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was delicious. The beach right in front is good for swimming, and you can walk to the snorkeling point.
