Gili Beach Wind

Breakfast was acceptable, though not especially great, and the host can book snorkeling trips at a good price. The host was friendly, helpful, and informative. The place is near the street and harbour. My room was reasonably clean and had shampoo, body wash, hot water, drinking water, an international socket, and plenty of power outlets. There was no hair dryer. I'd choose this place again if I return.

The port is nearby, which made getting around really convenient. You can rent bikes or motorcycles right there, at what seemed like the island's best prices, and the housekeeper was friendly and ready to help. I had a fabulous stay and would highly recommend this hostel in Gili Trawangan.

Good value for the stay and close to the jetty. The bed was clean, and breakfast came with fresh toast, pancakes, and juice. There are lots of good local restaurants nearby. We tried nasi campur at local spots, and it was delicious.

The room was cold from the AC, and the floors and beds were clean. I liked the patio, and despite the bad photos, the room was cleaner than most we saw on Gili T. The location is great, and the shower does have hot water, but hardly any comes through the showerhead. It's nearly impossible to wash properly, so scooping water from the sink works better. Smoking was another issue. When we asked to see a room, a staff member said "I take you," lit a cigarette right away, and expected us to follow through his smoke. I find that disgusting. The room smelled of smoke after he showed it to us, so we changed rooms. I don't feel bad about saying this, since good value under 400rp is hard to find on Gili. So many hotels put no money into upkeep after building, then blame every complaint on the island being expensive. At least brush the toilet bowl once a month, replace the toilet seat every year, and change the mirror when you can barely see your reflection. 🤢
