D'Gilian Bungalow

We spent ten days at D'Gilian Bungalow and were welcomed as soon as we checked in. The team is friendly, helpful, and around whenever you need them. It’s a little dated, but clean, cared for, and charming. We liked relaxing by the pool, and you can rent bikes and get drinks and breakfast on site. The location is quiet while still close to the beach, harbor, and restaurants. If you want a warm, clean, relaxed place rather than luxury, we’d happily return and recommend D'Gilian Bungalow.

Our room was spacious and clean, but the lack of soundproofing was a problem. We could hear people outside, even the sounds of them cooking. We stayed two nights in a room beside the lobby and kitchen. They also didn’t provide mineral water while we were there, saying they hadn’t received supplies from the big island.

The family who run the place are so kind and welcoming, and reception is open pretty much around the clock. When my friend fell outside, they immediately brought us plasters and ointment and were really empathetic. They always greeted us with “welcome home” when we came back ❤️ Our room was big, clean, and comfortable, with a walk-in shower, and the pool area was peaceful. It’s good value and conveniently located. I’d definitely recommend staying here in Gili T.

The rooms aren’t modern, but they’re spacious, tidy, clean, and have good A/C. They provide breakfast and pool towels. What stood out most was the family running the accommodation, who were so friendly and attentive and responded to any request or need.
