Sama Sama Bungalows

Coming from the Caribbean, I was really excited to check this place out, but it broke my heart. I gave it two tries, and both times everything but reggae was played.

If you’re into going out and partying, this is a must. It’s a fun place to meet people, with live rock and raggae music every day from unbelievably talented musicians. The staff are amazing, and the rooms are modern and pretty nice for the price. They’re also really quiet, so you barely hear the bar music. Don’t expect a luxury hotel, though. I’d absolutely recommend it to fellow party people. And go pet momo and coco, the sweetest cats on the whole island. They’ll guide you safely to your room at night. I had a great time and can’t wait to come back.

Sama sama is in a great spot, close to the main bars and some lovely beach areas. The staff were really friendly, and I had an excellent stay. I highly recommend it.

The bathroom was gross, the shower only had cold water, and breakfast was really basic. There was no TV, fridge or kettle either. Still, the location is handy, especially near the ferry, so it’s easy to walk there when arriving or leaving the island. Plenty of good restaurants and bars are close by, and you can rent a bike right in front of the hotel. The staff were very friendly.
