Santan Gili Cottages

Yudi made us feel at home right away. He was thoughtful, kind, and always willing to help, and it was clear he cared about us having a good stay. The villa itself was clean, spacious, beautifully designed, and had a dream of a private pool. It was quiet enough to relax, while still close to everything on the island. This stay went beyond what I expected. I’d give it six stars if I could, so I will: 6/5. Book it, you won’t regret it.

We had a great 7 nights here. The location was good, about 8 mins from the busy area, though the nearby Cockerel had a serious set of lungs. Our room was large and very clean, with great AC and a big bathroom and shower. The outside seating and kitchen were fantastic, and the plunge pool was excellent. Yudi was kind and helpful. He arranged a boat trip and got us bicycles, then quickly swapped them when we had punctures. Thoroughly recommend.

Our family loved spending 2 nights at Santan cottage villas in Gili. It’s a clean, spacious place with a full Kitchenette, laundry machine, and private pool. The walk to Main Street is about 10 min, though hiring a bike makes getting around more comfortable. The staff were friendly and always there to help, and Gudi arranged a Snorkling tour for us. We’d happily return and recommend it.

It was a peaceful place to unwind during our 6 nights there in December. The outdoor kitchen had a bit of a random collection of utensils, but enough to make our own breakfast, and having a laundry machine was useful. There’s a small grocery shop nearby and a restaurant at a close by guesthouse. The bed mattress could have been better 😉. I wish I could go back.
