The kids were offered toast and fried eggs alongside the included Asian breakfast, which was really thoughtful. But the stay itself was one issue after another. Our family room was actually two rooms inside a gated yard. The garden tub had no plug, the rusty gate lock no longer worked, water from the sink ran onto the floor, and the room key broke the first morning when I tried to lock the door. They wanted to charge us RP 50.000 for the key. When I went to reception, they kept saying yes, but didn't seem to understand the problems. I had to run the tap to show them the leak. The shower also drained so slowly that we were standing in 2cm of water almost straight away. Locals can use the pool too, and they left their trash behind. The restroom by the pool was really gross. This place probably was a great resort in the 80s and 90s of last century. It still has a lot of potential, but really needs a major renovation.

We were the only ones in the restaurant, but everything tasted freshly made just for us. The food was excellent. We met the chef too, and she was great, clearly passionate about what she makes. We'll definitely come back.

The pool is open to public guests for a fee. I mostly come here for lunch or dinner at the hotel restaurant, though. My favorite dish is "Ikan Goreng Rica-rica", so crispy and delicious!

We only came for a meal, not to stay at the hotel. The restaurant was clean, the prices fair, and all the food we tried was good: sup buntut, martabak, nasi goreng and empal. Recommended!

I love looking out at the park. The hotel feels cozy and is squeaky clean, and the staff are friendly and really helpful. It’s a perfect escape for me.
