Hotel Yulia

The staff were flexible with our timing on both visits, granting early check-in and early check-out so we could make the public boat KMP Tuna Tomini and, on our return, our flight home. My husband and I stayed at Hotel Yulia for two nights in October 2025 on the way to Pulau Una Una in Central Sulawesi, then came back for another night on our way back from Pulau Una. Breakfast had lots of choices, and my favorite was the kwetiau goreng. The lunch and dinner we ordered through room service were tasty and came in generous portions. Compliments to the chef. I also appreciated General Manager Pak Pascal taking my calls about the check-in arrangements. The owner of Sanctum Una Una Dive Center had given me Pak Pascal's number and spoke very highly of him. It’s a small, cozy place that looks new, not a big hotel. Our room was spacious and breakfast was nice, and the reception staff took care of all our needs. Clief was especially helpful in arranging a long-distance taxi and dealing with drivers who were dishonestly difficult to work with. He got it sorted in the end, though it wasn’t straightforward. Hats off to him!

The food and snacks were delicious, and there’s a cafe that also takes reservations from people who aren’t staying at the hotel. The staff are friendly and the service is good. I’m thankful I got to stay at a hotel as good as Yulia. I also got to meet alumni from SMKN 2 Gorontalo, where I studied hospitality from 2002 to 2005. Anyway, Yulia Hotel is the best.

The rooms are quite spacious, the staff are very friendly, and the hotel looks good for a 3 star place in Indonesia. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Gorontalo. My only issue was that some spots in the rooms hadn’t been cleaned properly, but the staff were friendly and cleaned them up quickly.
