Horison GKB (Formerly At HOM Premiere GKB )

I went to bed at 1 a.m. and woke up exhausted. After a business trip, this really wasn't a good place to get some rest. It's central, but outside noise carries into the room, and the hallway music plays around the clock. The room isn't soundproof. I asked the staff to turn the music off, but they didn't, and I had to wear myself out just to fall asleep.

The best part for me was Bebek GKB. The food tastes great, the prices are good, and the staff give great service. I've eaten there a few times with overseas guests, and it's always been great. I also toured the hotel and saw the meeting room with Pak Syahid and his manager, Pak Shai. It's near the outdoor cafe and works well for smaller groups.

The location worked well for me, close to the city, lots of food spots nearby, and not far from the industrial area. There are also Sakeca lounge and bebel GKB alongside the hotel restaurant. The staff were really welcoming. I came back from work at dawn and the receptionist was still at the desk. They gave me bread on my first night, and the welcome snacks and drinks were traditional ones like ginger drink, sweet tea and cookies. My room was clean, nice and cozy. There’s a small gym with a treadmill, static cycle, bench and dumbbells. I think you can get a workout in there.
