Edge Resort Yogyakarta

We could hear the gentle waves, and the place was quiet, which made it feel really romantic. My fiancé and I enjoyed every moment and loved the beach view. It was worth visiting, and I hope to return someday for more lovely memories. 💖

The kitchen and staff were great, and the views were amazing. But our room wasn’t clean, with ants inside, and there were only three sunbeds for the whole resort.

The pool was the disappointing part of our stay. It’s featured so prominently, but the water was cloudy and the maintenance sign showed a date from a week earlier, so we didn’t feel comfortable swimming. On a previous visit, the infinity pool had been one of the best parts. Getting to The Edge Hotel Resort takes an SUV or similar because the road is steep and narrow. It was fine for us, though it could be difficult for some guests. The views around the resort are stunning, and our room was clean, comfortable, and well kept. The staff were friendly and attentive, and there was a good range of delicious food. We were a little disappointed this time because the pool fell short of what we expected. Since it’s such a central feature, it should be kept in pristine condition.

The restaurant’s food menu is limited, though they do have good teas. The driveway is interesting and a bit of a challenge to navigate. Still, it’s a good place.
