Hotel Bunga Permata

The noise was the worst part. With the hotel right by a main road and poor sound insulation, traffic came straight into the room. My AC didn't work, the water smelled like sewage, and the sheets were dirty. There was also painting going on in the next room, and the smell was unbearable. On arrival, the receptionist seemed confused by my online booking, which made things awkward. I had booked and paid full price for a superior room but was given a deluxe-sized room instead. This was easily the worst hotel I've stayed at, despite visiting many for work. I absolutely wouldn't return.

The staff were super friendly, and the AC was quite cool after recent maintenance. The room itself was a bit below par, but they fixed it enough to make it bearable.

It looked dirty and the whole place smelled. For the same price, hotels downtown are relatively cheaper. I wouldn't recommend it.

The room and bathroom were clean, but the towels, sheets, and pillows looked old and worn. It seemed like they weren't changed often.
