The room change didn’t solve the problem: there was no warm water in the second room either, and the front desk’s advice to let it run for 15 minutes made no difference after I tried for 30. When a receptionist came to inspect, he tracked muddy footprints through the room and bathroom, then checked another shower that also had no warm water. He came back through the room again without changing anything. We’d first been given a damp, moldy room that smelled awful. Jakarta I Hotel is run-down and in terrible repair, and the service was appalling. I’ve had few hotel stays this bad. The reviews seem fake to me, and I’d strongly advise staying elsewhere. The water was only one of the problems.

The airport shuttle can take you back in the morning, but contact reception to book it. There are also local places to eat within walking distance, so it works well for a stopover. I didn’t like that many rooms have no windows, and the booking site didn’t say so. If you want a window, don’t book here.

The staff are helpful and the service is okay, but the WiFi is awful. The speed is so bad I can barely even post a review using it.

I was comfortable in the room, and the service was kind and helpful. As a woman traveling alone, I didn’t feel the surrounding area was very safe or comfortable to walk around. There’s a convenience store just down the road for snacks, and getting Grab food delivered is easy.

We stayed here for 18 days while working at Cargo Airport. The hotel is near the airport and has a shuttle bus, and the receptionists were nice to us. Makasih banyak Pak Bara, Aril, Rima, Aliza dan Pak Ipin for the hospitality 💖. I’d recommend staying here.
