Ambassador Residence

I lived here for a few months and found the staff professional, friendly, and very accommodating. The building may look old from outside, but it’s properly cleaned and well maintained. The central location is another plus, right across from Lotte Shopping Avenue, with easy access to places on foot.

We’ll stay here again when we come back to Jakarta. The room, reception area, and corridor were clean, the car park is big, and the staff are friendly. Highly recommend.

Maintenance has been getting worse at a place that used to work well for both short and long stays. The hot water is unreliable, toilets often don’t work properly, and sinks leak a lot. There’s also noise from dogs barking and running through the lobby. The owner seems uninterested in fixing these problems or paying professionals to handle the building’s structural maintenance.

An amazing place, like a black pearl in the middle of the ocean.
