There are plenty of laundry places inside Sentra Timur Residence, including Roolling Laundry. Their machines look fairly new, and you can do the washing yourself to keep your laundry private. Payment works by cash or cashless, and the prices are low. The machines are run through an app, which starts the laundry after payment, so there’s no need for coins. While waiting around an hour for a load, there are coffee spots and street food nearby.

They only take cash, and the parking charges feel steep: 5k for the first hour, then 4k for each additional hour. That’s what you might pay at Jakarta malls, but the parking area and roads here are in worse condition.

The place is in poor shape, with little maintenance, dirt, and only very light cleaning. Installations are poor, the lift has been out of service for more than two years, and there’s a bad smell. Parking is a problem too. Management is poor, and the service charges are very high without any clear justification. When I asked for an explanation, they couldn’t give me one.

I stayed for a week on the 28th floor, and the views from up there were nice. The apartment itself is comfortable, the security staff are friendly, and the price is reasonable. It’s close to public facilities like a minimarket, gas station, train station, and bus station. There are also lots of food stalls on the ground floor, with cheap food that tastes good.

A homey place with plenty of facilities, including a pool, convenience store, lots of elevators, and an inexpensive restaurant. The shuttle bus runs until 13.00 on Saturday.
