There was water on the floor, and I had no idea where it came from. There was another problem in the room too, but they made no real effort to sort it out. I booked a room on the 2nd floor, but they gave me one on the ground floor, with no policy for that. They’d posted lots of pictures of the upstairs rooms and just kept saying there wasn’t another room. No solution. It could be a nice place if nothing goes wrong, but if there’s a problem? Just no.

My husband picked this place at random, and we liked it so much we booked twice! 😄🥰 Check-in was easy and smooth, and the staff were polite, friendly and helpful. Our favorite was Pak Rahman! The room had complete, well-maintained facilities, and the location is super strategic. We loved everything and will definitely stay again. 🥰

I’ve stayed here about three times over the year I spent in Jakarta. The space works for us, and the location is the main draw: quaint but accessible, and close enough to everything we enjoyed. I’ll come back.

We spent 3 days and 2 nights here, and it was such a pleasant stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and eager to welcome us and help with anything we needed. The room was clean and tidy, with a huge bathroom, big enough for three people if you wanted 😁. There’s laundry service for daily clothes, which is a nice extra. The kitchen set was complete, so just bring your favorite ingredients 🥕🥦🍅. The mini balcony was lovely for getting some fresh air in the morning. I’d give it 6 stars if I could.

The photos really don’t show how nice this place is. Sampit is a gem, with great food, amenities and public transport all within walking distance, which is rare in Jakarta. There’s 24/7 security, and the cleaning service is fabulous. The apartment has what you need to feel comfortable. We usually stay at my wife’s family home in South Jakarta, but after a few days here I’m thinking this could be our regular place when we visit. Congrats, team Ariama!
