Ascott Jakarta

We stayed from 13th to 15th of May 2026 after booking through the ASR platform, where we became members for the discounts. Booking was smooth, and check-in was fairly quick and easy. There was no deposit. Staff were accommodating and the service was good. The hotel sits between Grand Indonesia and Thamrin City. We skipped breakfast so we could try restaurants around Grand Indonesia, Plaza Indonesia, and the Menteng neighbourhood. At checkout they provided a complimentary shuttle to Stasiun KA BNI City. The concierge was very helpful and even assisted me with purchasing airport train tickets. Yes, we’d stay there again.

The rooms are excellent and the staff are very helpful, so compliments to the team. Breakfast is where things fell short for the price. The dining area was small and warm, and on the first day we had to wait 20 minutes, though front office staff helped us get seats. Refills were slow and the food selection needs work. If breakfast were very good, I’d give the overall stay five stars.

The location is fantastic, and the staff service was excellent. We stayed in the 3 bedroom suite and were genuinely impressed by how large it was. Having a full kitchen and our own laundry room was more than we could have asked for, and worked perfectly for a family. On the last day, water pressure dropped enough to make showering a little difficult.

The slow response times from room service, housekeeping, and reception need work. Most frustrating was check-in, which took nearly an hour just to get the room key after a long, tiring trip. For the premium rates, service efficiency should match the property’s high standards, and I hope those areas improve to reflect Ascott’s reputation. The rooms themselves were well maintained, with an elegant, royal-inspired look, and the overall atmosphere felt luxurious and comfortable. Ascott Hotel Jakarta is also very well located, a short walk from Grand Indonesia and Plaza Indonesia, convenient for shopping, dining, and business.
