Ashley Tang Menteng Jakarta

I stayed several nights in July 2025, and this long-overdue review is for Ashley Tang. The free 24-hour laundry room was a great perk. It was small, but modern, air-conditioned, clean, and tidy, and detergent and softener were provided at no charge. What really impressed me was what happened after checkout. A few hours later I realized I'd left my electric toothbrush in the room. I was still in Jakarta for a couple more days, so I called the front desk to ask if they could look for it, without expecting much. The next day, housekeeping texted to say they'd found it and kept it safe at the front desk for me. I was pleasantly speechless. Every employee I encountered was professional and showed the right hospitality, from the front desk and housekeeping to the entrance greeters and the people working in the parking area out front. They all deserve recognition. Ashley Tang is a gem and deserves far more than five-star reviews. I hope management knows how lucky they are to have such a team. It was a very satisfying stay, and I'll certainly return when I'm in Jakarta.

This was my second booking, made at the last minute, and I'm very happy I chose the hotel again. Jefri, Indra, and Martha at the front office were great. Pak Jefri helped when I checked in around noon, earlier than the usual 2 PM, and upgraded my room too. The warm welcome made me look forward to staying here more often. It's clean, cozy, and very conveniently located, with a little China feel that I love. Thanks, everyone!

FO Alfin and FO Indra showed compassion to a tired traveler, and their professionalism felt like genuine hospitality. The chic room carries through the lobby's stylish look, and the hotel feels thoughtfully put together. I also appreciated the bellboy/security staff member who greets guests with a big smile and opens the door. Thank you, Pak. The F&B staff seemed a little stiff and somewhat unusual, including the suited staff member. The smoking room on level 10 works well, though the air feels a bit heavy. Overall, I'd rate the stay 7/10.

The doormen were always attentive and friendly. When it was raining, one helped me out of the car with an umbrella, which I really appreciated. Alfin also stayed late to help sort out our many requests, and kept assisting until we got what we needed. Huge thanks to him. Jefri and Ari S at the front desk made arrival feel easy with their warm welcome, and even helped me unwrap my luggage. Bagus and Rodes from housekeeping kept the room neat and looking great every time we came back. We appreciated the amenities and the surprise meat pie sent to our room too. Everyone was genuinely kind, and the stay felt comfortable and special. We'd definitely return.
