My first Bobopod stay was in February 2025, for two nights in a double sky room, and it was really good. The compact room was clean and comfortable, and sleeping in that pod was great. Staff were friendly and informative. The shower was clean and the water heater worked well, and I got two clean towels. Parking was a little narrow. There’s a gas station and minimarket near Bobopod.

At around 200 000 IDR a night, it’s a cheap place to sleep, with kind and helpful staff and an easy check-in. Getting there was a bit awkward: you can’t walk straight from the main street because there’s a deep, wide ditch, so you have to go around it. My Grab driver didn’t know the way either, though there is actually a gate for cars to enter. The room was cold, and it wasn’t very soundproof. You can easily hear people walking or going to the toilet.

A nice stay for backpackers, with a big enough room that was very clean and cold. It’s in South Jakarta near the CBD, with easy access to public transport.

I picked this place for one night before catching the Whoosh train from Stasiun Halim in the morning. The ride there took around 15-20 minutes with traffic. It’s away from the busy area, and having an Indomaret right next door was really handy. Clean and comfortable, a good option for a short stay.

Really appreciated how spotless the bathroom was. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable, and it works well for a quick transit stop or an affordable staycation. It’s especially nice if you like a peaceful, quiet place, or just want some time to yourself.
