Construction noise went on through the night, despite our repeated complaints. It began at 7 PM, with workers banging on the walls. Staff asked them to stop, and I appreciate their help, but the noise started again about an hour later and continued until 4 AM. It was awful. The first room was directly across from another room, and the window looked out at a construction worker's legs. Wooden planks blocked half of it, and the noise was unbearable. We were moved to the opposite side, where the bathroom had a horrible sewage smell. We were disappointed as soon as we arrived.

We stayed in the sriwijaya room. The ambience and bed were okay, and the shower was nice, but no hot water came out. I also had trouble with the air conditioning. It wasn't hot, but it wasn't cool either, and it couldn't keep up with the size of the room or the weather outside. The location was amazing, making it easy to get anywhere. Breakfast comes in several packages at the cafe on the first floor. We picked salted egg chicken and kaya toast and were surprised by how good they tasted.

There's a big price difference between booking directly and using a third-party app, so it feels quite pricey. A deluxe room was around 450k IDR on the app but about 800k IDR direct. There wasn't a discount for booking two rooms for two nights either.

I spent a week here and found it a really nice place. The rooms are bright, the neighborhood is quiet, and there are lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. The staff were welcoming and helpful. For this price range, it's the best hotel in Jakarta.

Breakfast was amazing, and the small B&B is clean, spacious, and homey. The location is okay, near SCBD area and senopati. Parking is limited, so if there's no spot, you have to use the valet. I didn't check how much the valet costs.
