We left right away and booked another nearby hotel. The room we were offered as a replacement was just as dirty, and when we asked for a refund they refused. This place is unsanitary and doesn’t deserve even one star. It felt like pure fraud. The property was run-down from floor to ceiling and filthy everywhere. The reception and its furniture were in advanced disrepair. In our room, the walls and furniture were filthy, and the old AC motor ran without cooling the room. The bathroom was badly deteriorated and extremely dirty, with loose, barely fixed plumbing and excrement stains in the toilet. There were no towels, toilet paper, soap, or shampoo. There was no breakfast or restaurant service. Reception told us they didn’t serve meals or breakfast and didn’t provide towels or even toilet paper. The advertised services didn’t match reality, just like the photos, which looked edited in Photoshop or possibly AI-generated.

The room had plenty of problems when we checked in: it was dirty, there were no towels or soap, and the AC wasn’t working properly. The window wouldn’t close all the way, the toilet wouldn’t flush, and the lighting was so dim the room felt uncomfortable. The location is a real plus for travelers, with easy access to major attractions in central Jakarta, including Masjid Istiqlal. The room upkeep and basic amenities need serious improvement. I hope management takes this feedback on board.

Three people I didn’t know robbed me at the hotel. I feel there’s no real security here. The security team should be monitoring the CCTV, but it seemed useless even though cameras were there. I’m deeply traumatized.
