Cove Accordia Residence

The room didn't seem ready for anyone to stay in. They checked me into a different one, and when I asked, a staff member said mine was being renovated, so I couldn't tell whether I'd been upgraded or downgraded. There was no toilet paper, water around the toilet, and the shower wouldn't drain properly because the drain sat above floor level. Water splashed everywhere from the poorly designed sink, and the hot shower didn't work. The room had no soundproofing; I could hear a child screaming and laughing downstairs. I also don't know why they chose to clean or repair the next room at night, then did it again in the morning.

The location is convenient, close to the station, with fast Wi-Fi and a shared kitchen. Check-in is self-service: scan the barcode and ask the guy in the front room for the key. He was really helpful and friendly. But Cove and whoever looks after the buildings need to deal with bathroom 102. The floor gets soaking wet and slippery. If it can't be repaired, at least provide proper slippers. You don't want someone falling there.

The room was so, so comfortable and clean. The location is handy, and the management is great.

I picked this affordable place because it was close to the event I was attending, and only stayed a short time. The staff were good, and I had a good experience overall.
