The main issue is still the noise from the Antasari flyover. When I returned in 2026 for a staycation with a friend, I booked a twin room and again asked not to face the flyover. The front desk said every twin room faces it, but assured me it wasn't noisy anymore. I trusted that, since my previous stay in that room type had been back in 2020. It was still extremely loud, honestly unbearable. They didn't have earplugs when I asked. For a five-star hotel, management doesn't seem to take the repeated noise feedback seriously. If proper soundproofing is too difficult or expensive, earplugs should at least be provided. Even three-star Hotel Mono**** offers them to reduce noise from its own rooftop bar. The TV has been upgraded, at least. I told the front desk about the noise, but the response felt poorly coordinated. We turned down late checkout, and they offered to send pasta to our room at 10 AM, right after breakfast, which was already included in our booking. Late checkout didn't feel like special compensation either, since it wasn't high season and complimentary late checkouts are commonly offered anyway. My first stay was in 2020, in a room facing the flyover, and the noise was unbearable then too. In 2025, I specifically requested a room facing away from it. That stay was mostly okay, but the TV was outdated and not a smart TV, and its antenna kept causing static. I had to call a technician several times to fix it. I really think the hotel needs to take complaints about the noise more seriously, especially for a five-star property.

I like that the hotel isn't too crowded, and the price is reasonable for the room type and location. So far the room and service have both made me happy, with no complaints. I'd come back.

The room and the nice staff were the only good parts of my stays. For a five-star hotel, everything else was just meh. The food was bland, and I ordered room service several times but never finished it. I only ate breakfast there on the first day because it wasn't good, just plain again. Even the meat in the sushi didn't seem fresh, I could tell. The fruit looked old from its color alone, like it had been sitting in a smelly freezer in the fridge for a week. I was really disappointed, but too lazy to complain while I was there.
