Highest Value 1BR Apartment at Gold Coast PIK

The apartment's close to a jogging track, which is handy if you like walking or running. I booked through Airbnb, and everything went smoothly with clear instructions from the host and receptionist. My room was on the small side, but clean, with Netflix, good Wi-Fi, kitchen basics, and a mangrove forest view. I was happy with the stay.

No breakfast, and the Alfamart closes at 10 pm. They also wouldn't let me leave my luggage at reception. The facilities are great and the hotel employees provided great service, but if you rent an apartment directly from an owner rather than management, the room may not be looked after well. Still, I thought the apartment was excellent overall.

The apartment complex is clean and private, and it's surrounded by restaurants and cafes. It's also close to the airport. Some places in the neighborhood are walkable, and getting around inside the complex with a stroller is fine, but outside there are no pedestrian paths or crossing bridge. That seems to be the situation in Indonesia generally. Food delivery is inconvenient because drivers can't come to the lobby and there's no dedicated drop-off area. You have to walk past the main security gate to the main street to collect your order. The walls are thin enough that I could hear neighbors talking, walking in the hall, cleaning, and watching TV. The hall has no fan, AC, or air access, so waiting for the lift is uncomfortable.

The sea view is lovely, especially at night. The apartment has great facilities, including a pool, jogging track, barbecue corner, minimart, and children's playground. The grounds are clean, too. Great location, and I really enjoyed staying here.
