Hotel Bulevar Tanjung Duren Jakarta

It’s on a wide street and the location is good, but the place smelled awful. The room, furniture, bed, and chair all seemed old, and they were dirty. The toilet was dirty too. This was the worst house, hotel, or homestay I’ve ever experienced.

There wasn’t any water in the room, and the toilet was filthy. The two towels had black stains, and there was a spider web on the ceiling. Did housekeeping only come in to change the sheets? I can’t understand how they missed it. The hotel felt horrible and downright scary, and I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through the same bad experience. I asked to change rooms, but the air conditioning in the other room wouldn’t turn on. There was no phone to call reception, so I eventually left. This hotel is on my blacklist now. Don’t waste your money booking it.

The hot water and AC worked fine, but that was about it. The place felt so shady that I left the same evening. There were mosquitoes, the TV kept turning on and off, and the lift button didn’t work. My key got stuck in the door, the bathroom was dirty, and the furniture was in bad shape. I had to pay for every little item, like a towel, mat, or glass, and even then they couldn’t provide them. The lobby was fine, but the staff were slacking off. From outside it looked poorly maintained, and inside it felt like a haunted house.

The receptionists were friendly, and the bathroom was nice. The rest of the place felt scary, though. There were cigarette butts in a drawer and, unfortunately, a louse on the mirror. The carpet was stained and dusty, and the main light on the floor wasn’t on, so it was really dark at night. My mom was so scared that she asked a receptionist to walk her to the room. The building itself is pretty nice, but it seems they don’t have much budget for upkeep.
