Hotel Nusantara Indah Syariah

The reception staff were very nice and the AC worked well, but the rest was awful. There were mosquitoes in both rooms I was given and even in the lobby. I took photos and videos. The walls were marked up, and the stained bedding looked worn out and unwashed. I asked why they hadn't sprayed the rooms or lobby 🤷. This didn't feel up to hotel standards, or even backpacker standards. It reminded me of old Poppies IIaccommodation from 50 years ago, except with a bathroom. How is this listed as four stars on TRAVELOKA? Something isn't right.

The room was small but clean, and the Wi-Fi worked well. You can walk to tanah Abang, which is a real plus. The bathroom could use work, though the room was okay for the price. If you want sophisticated facilities, this probably isn't the place for you.

The hotel may be older than I am, but it's still in good shape. I liked the shower and the air conditioning, and room service was good. The receptionist was really helpful too. There were mosquitoes, as people mentioned, though for some reason they didn't bite me. This is probably the first budget hotel I've visited that actually put my mind at ease. I'd stay here again.

I'm fine with the hotel looking old, but it hasn't been maintained well. The lobby was hot and unpleasantly humid, with water dripping from a leak. The tap in my room leaked too, and there was no Wi-Fi access in any of the rooms. Mosquitoes were all over the place. Not worth it.
