It’s a good place to sleep and pretty close to the main train station. The price is low, so it’s reasonable for a short stay, but I wouldn’t want to spend one or two weeks here. There are hygiene problems: the blanket smelled really bad, like it was washed only once a month, and the pillow had yellow stains.

The amenities are good, but they clearly aren’t being maintained. My first stay was on the second floor and was great: the pod and bathroom were clean, the water was good, and the AC was cold. I had no complaints and would’ve given it five stars. On the next few visits I kept getting the third floor, and it was awful. The pod charging points were broken, the bed sheet had stains, the bathroom had no working AC and felt like a microwave, and the lounge AC was hot. The Wi-Fi was slow, and a guy kept having loud phone calls in his pod during sleeping hours.

The mattress and towels were clean, and they provide soap and slippers. The pod itself had dirty areas around the mirror, TV, and door. The bathroom needs cleaning, and there was never any toilet paper. I wouldn’t recommend it for women, especially during a period. They take your ID or 50k as a deposit for the room card, which seemed strange. The Wi-Fi didn’t work, so don’t rely on it. I stayed two nights but wish I’d stayed just one for the pod experience. The pod AC was freezing, so I had to ask for another blanket, and the USB charging port didn’t work.

My Agoda booking was confirmed, but when I arrived to check in, they said the rooms were full and sent me elsewhere. The man at the front desk said they’d accepted walk-ins who paid cash upfront, even though I already had a confirmed booking. I had to arrange another place and take a taxi, which was a hassle. The property also refused to cancel my booking, leaving me facing a no-show charge for the full amount. I had to exchange several messages with Agoda, and they had to contact the property more than once before it finally agreed to cancel without a fee. Not a good situation for a backpacker just off a trip of more than 27 hours.
