JS Luwansa Hotel and Convention Center

JS Luwansa is a very nice hotel and worth the price. Its location in Jakarta is strategic, with several offices and buildings nearby for work. Breakfast had a range of local, national, and international dishes. The service was great too. One receptionist was especially kind and helpful, though I forgot his name. I also had a massage, and the therapist handled me really well. Each time I returned from my activities, there was a super cute owl towel doll in my room. At breakfast I used to order coffee and say, “no need Lattè Art, just give me a coffee,” but they still wouldn't let that happen. I highly recommend the hotel. Keep it up, JS Luwansa.

Breakfast had plenty of choices for different tastes, and the area is handy for eating out. Getting to the LRT and buses couldn't be easier. We had a great stay, with friendly staff, good service, and a clean room. Even the small pool was clean and warmer than at most hotels. A shout-out to everyone, including housekeeping, though sadly I didn't get his name, and Reception, especially Davina. They were helpful, attentive, and friendly. We look forward to coming back.

The water pressure in the bathroom was great, and the soap and shampoo had a lovely scent. My room was spotless and comfortable. The hotel sits in a strategic spot surrounded by government offices and business buildings. Everyone on staff was very friendly and greeted guests with a warm smile. Mrs. Suryani helped me at check-out and was cheerful and kind. Her hospitality was a lovely way to end my stay. I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend the hotel.

After more than 25 years of traveling internationally and spending countless nights in hotels across every continent, I rarely come across hospitality that surprises me. JS Luwansa Hotel in Jakarta did. When I entered my room, there was a beautifully presented “welcome back” cake, customized with my company logo. I'd never had a hotel make such a personal, meaningful gesture on my business trips. That kind of thoughtfulness goes beyond routine professionalism. The amenities and room comfort were good, but what stood out was the attention to detail, genuine warmth, and the whole team's effort to anticipate what guests might need. The gesture made me feel valued as a returning guest and showed a commitment to memorable stays. JS Luwansa has mastered hospitality, and I'd recommend it to business or leisure travelers looking for thoughtful, personal, sincere service. I look forward to returning on my next trip to Jakarta.
