There were other issues too: no toilet paper, a broken elevator, and very slow Wi-Fi. But the worst part was the room. It was full of cockroaches, and the replacement room had many as well. I asked to cancel, and they told me Agoda would refund me if I went through them. I'd already checked out two hours earlier. It was a frightening stay, definitely not an amazing experience.

I only needed a few hours between my train arriving at Gambir at 3 am and the next part of my trip, so this was just a transit stop. The sidewalk at the entrance smelled of urine. The card reader for the lift didn't work, and the room was very dirty: stained sheets, pillows that looked used before I got there, and old furnishings. They held onto my ID card all night, which felt really strange. I guess you get what you pay for, though. Thanks for the assistance.

The executive room was spacious, clean, cool, and neat, with a nice city view. The queen bed, TV, refrigerator, phone, desk light, and many power outlets were all there, along with working room facilities. The McQuay air conditioner was super cold. There was a wardrobe, chair and desk, hot water, toothbrush and toothpaste, shampoo, soap, and toilet tissue. Parking was large, with space for seven cars or more, plus many motorbikes, and there was a security post. The location is convenient downtown, around shops, offices, restaurants, local stalls, and public transport. Still, some things shown in the travel app photos weren't in the room. There were no slippers, water heater, soap dish, hand towel, coffee, tea, sugar, glass, or hair dryer. The tissues were thin and cheap, the two water bottles were small and an unfamiliar brand, and there was only one bath towel until I asked for another. I wouldn't recommend it for families with babies or children, since there's no way to prepare hot milk. The hot water smelled like sewage at first, then the smell went away. They may need to check the water reservoir. The AC remote had no batteries, so I had to swap them with the TV remote. Check-in was fast, but reception staff weren't very helpful with luggage. The hotel looked old and poorly maintained, which made me worry given the reviews and what I saw. Nobody helped carry our bags after we parked. Only one of the two elevators was working, and reception felt cold and cheerless, though it wasn't crowded. I later found out it was no longer under the same management and was being run by Djuragan Kamar, a hotel services provider. Some staff were friendly, and despite the missing facilities, my family and I enjoyed our stay. I'll come back next time.

The room itself looked nice, but the cockroaches spoiled it. On my very first day I found dozens, including three really huge ones. I went to a cafe at 7:30 PM, and when I returned there were more in the room, in the bed, and in the bathroom.
