New Priok Indah Syariah Hotel

I was only there for one night while visiting the nearest harbormaster, and it was a disappointing stay. The location is convenient in North Jakarta, but for peace of mind, I’d spend more and look around the south instead. The price can look tempting, but I barely got a decent night’s sleep. There were local gangsters sitting outside around midnight, and I was afraid to go out alone. Vehicle noise was loud, though understandable. Inside, the bed was dusty, there was no window and little lighting, and the sink plumbing was hanging. The shower got warm but not hot enough, and the toilet had no lock. The room needs a lot of work, including hiding the electrical cords better and repainting. I know that would take funding, but guests shouldn’t have to settle for subpar service.
