This is more of a new motel than a hotel. When I stayed, it had only been open for around three or four months, so the room felt fresh and was fairly clean. Parking was convenient, and the price is low, making it suitable for backpackers. If you have trouble finding it, look for the orange OYO sign on Jalan Pangeran Jayakarta.

The location was a real plus, with Kota Tua nearby, plenty of warungs and convenience stores, and a metro stop close enough that there was lots to do. The room itself was spacious and a bit cozy, and the AC worked reasonably well for what I paid. A heads-up about the check-in: we arrived early hoping to leave our backpacks there while exploring, but they wouldn't store our bags. We ended up carrying 20kgs around until 2pm. Also, after booking, they email you asking for another confirmation email, otherwise they say the booking will be cancelled. I don't often review places, but this one left an impression. Location was great, the stay was good value, and the humanity value was meh. Would I return? Probably not.

For a quick, low-cost stay around Mangga dua/besar, this place is a reasonable option. The rooms are kept to Oyo standards.
