I wouldn’t recommend this place. I arrived late at night and managed to get in, though it wasn’t easy. I’d booked through agoda for 100 idr, but reception said I had to pay another 100 idr without explaining why, just that it was how things were. I was too tired to argue and agreed. The room was a huge disappointment. The sheets were dirty and smelled strongly of sweat, the pillows were moldy, the shower didn’t work properly, and there was no way to control the AC, which was off. I don’t expect much from hotels in general, and I’m fine with dorms, but this was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, regardless of the price.

The door was rusty, water leaked from the room above, and the staff were passive. I asked if they had a bucket to catch the leak and got only, “no bucket.” No effort at all. The pricing was weird too: the cheaper the room, the higher the cleaning fee. Under Rp100.000, the fee is Rp30.000; under Rp80.000, it’s Rp60.000; and under Rp60.000, it’s Rp80.000. Any room ends up costing Rp140.000,- total. So funny!

This didn’t feel syariah at all. There were lots of dating couples and tattoed men, and the front office didn’t ask for a marriage certificate. The lobby was flooded, and the lobby toilet had no water. There was a problem with my agoda booking: they said the Standard Double wasn’t available because of electricity and shower issues. We had to wait a long time, and the check-in line was long too. The pool was tiny, unpleasant to look at, and too close to the crowded front office and waiting area. It wasn’t comfortable to swim there. Our room was very dirty. There were sperm stains on the linen and pillows, and everything smelled bad. The spring mattress hurt our backs. The bathroom mat was filthy and sandy, and the bathroom itself was dirty with moss. They wouldn’t lend us towels and didn’t give us soap or toothpaste. There wasn’t even a rubbish bin. Please don’t get tricked by the price like we did. Cancel your stay here. OYO, please pay attention to tricky third party residence providers. Airy is a useful example: even though many Airy places are old, they’re always sparkling clean and provide amenities and snacks.

The hallway on the ground floor was flooded when my friends and I arrived at night, and it was still that way when we left the next day. The pool was dirty too, even though it’s shown in the photos. Parking only has room for about five cars. Staff weren’t friendly at first, though they warmed up after finding out we came from the same place as them. I couldn’t see what made this place sharia.

The pool was dirty and there was fungus around, while the blankets and pillows were filthy. The TV was broken too. The air conditioning was the only thing that seemed to work. For a grand opening, the place really needed to be cleaned up. It felt more like a motel than a hotel, and almost like a zero-star stay. It’s very cheap, but I wouldn’t recommend sleeping here unless saving money is absolutely necessary. I don’t regret discovering the place, just staying in it. The staff seemed badly overworked and needed more people, maybe 20 or more. I hope the owner doesn’t blame them for my review. I could share more photos, but I don’t have the energy to try to bring the place down, so I’ve said what I needed to.
