PassGo Thamrin

Agnes helped me with the little things, and the staff overall were friendly and easy to approach. I enjoyed my time here. It’s surprising, but the facilities are much better than at most “luxury” accommodations in Jakarta. If you need an affordable place in Central Jakarta, Passgo is one to consider.

The sheets in both rooms we used had stains, as shown in the photo. In the two person rooms, it was also very cold, the sheets were thin and too small for two people, and we couldn’t adjust the temperature. We had to install an app to get into our room and do things like turn on the lights. Our phone’s App Store region wasn’t Indonesia, so we couldn’t install it and had to go to reception each time for someone to open the door or switch on the light. It wasn’t outrageous, but we were disappointed. Otherwise things were okay, and the staff were friendly, though they spoke almost no English.

Don’t book or download their rooms through the app. They take your money but don’t record the order, and you can forget about getting a refund. The money’s gone. Shitty app, shitty service.

The capsules are plastic, so it can get annoying if someone is above your bed. I wouldn’t stay longer than 1-2 nights for that reason. Still, everything else was okay. I stayed one night before my flight, and the hotel was very clean, in a good location, with really friendly staff.
