The location made it easy to walk around Ancol beach and L’Bridge in the afternoon, or go for a run in the morning. My Penyu room on the lower floor faced the lake, where I could see the gondola passing by, which was nice for relaxing. The pool was okay and looked out toward the sea. The restaurant is nearby, and breakfast came with a sea and pool view. I stayed at Putri Duyung Cottage Ancol for one night, Saturday to Sunday in January 2026, and paid around IDR 1,500,000. The cottage has an old building design, and the furniture feels dated too. The room had complete amenities, but the minibar fridge smelled bad and wasn't cold at all, basically not working. The electric kettle had leftover noodle stains inside, so it clearly hadn't been checked properly by housekeeping. The path along the lake also needs work, with many damaged sections. Breakfast didn't have many choices and wasn't especially interesting, though the carbonara pasta was surprisingly good 👌. It was a good stay for the location and views, but maintenance and cleanliness need more attention.

Staff did a good job across security, reception, the restaurant, and housekeeping. When my mother accidentally left her cellphone behind, they kept it and let us know, though the first message wasn't very clear. Restaurant and housekeeping service were very good, and the food at dinner and breakfast was tasty. The location is ideal for getting around Ancol. The rooms really need more attention. The bed in our deluxe room was very uncomfortable, possibly because it was old and the springs were loose. Our junior suite sheet had stains, but housekeeping replaced it right away. There were ants on the bed too. The pool was clean, but nobody was attending it, and only one pool was operating. The price is expensive, though the free dufan tickets and included breakfast and dinner helped make up for it. Room cleanliness and comfort still need improvement.

For IDR 17 mio for a 2 day stay, the service was bad, the property poorly maintained, and the food was a bad experience. Breakfast was poor. When I asked for a towel, they said I should exchange the used one, even though after cleaning we hadn't been given enough towels.

This heritage hotel sits in a strategic spot in the middle of Ancol Park, and the service was good, at a 4-5 star standard. The room has an old feel, and my complaint was that the hot water didn't work 😔.

Sharing that beautiful place with my love made every step, view, and heartbeat feel special. The world seemed softer and time almost stopped. It’s a vacation I’ll never forget.
