Staying in the Ambassador and Elite Deluxe Room felt like living as a local, and the experience went beyond what I expected. My family and I had the best hotel and apartment stay of the whole trip. We were in the heart of South of Jakarta, just minutes from major culinary spots, so getting around was easy. Check-in on the 19th floor was smooth, thanks to Ms. Belicia for the great service. Front desk staff were helpful around the clock, including with luggage. Housekeeping did a great job keeping the rooms clean, and the F&B servers were friendly and detailed while the cooks were professional. I understand some rooms in the main hotel may not have lift access. If having a lift matters for your stay, I’d call ahead and tell the staff what you need. I’d highly recommend RA Suites Simatupang to anyone visiting Jakarta.

On my second stay here, the room was spotless again, and there was a great range of consistently delicious food that kept every meal interesting. I’m looking forward to returning. I did find a broken hanger this time, so it’d be good to check the room equipment and make sure everything is ready to use. A power outlet beside the table would also help guests who bring work into the room. The hospitality, cleanliness, and food variety make this a wonderful choice.

We stayed in a comfortable suite with a beautiful modern design at this nice hidden gem in South of Jakarta. Mba Nanda from the reception team was a big help during check-in, and the service was great. We’ll be back for another staycation soon. We loved the rooftop band and its songlist.

The staff were helpful and breakfast was included, but the rest was rough. The hotel doesn’t match how it’s presented online and feels more like a motel. The toilet was dirty, there was no hot water or handwashing sink, and it wouldn’t flush. The bedsheet had tiny holes, and the corridor smelled strongly of second-hand smoke. Soundproofing was poor, and WiFi couldn’t be detected in every room. Consider it only if your budget is really low.

The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. It’s a nice city hotel near an MRT station. The guests were mostly foreigners, quiet and respectful, with no screaming children or loud groups. I think most people were here for business. Our conference snacks and lunch were delicious, with lots of options. Breakfast could be better.
