RedDoorz near Taman Puring

The place was dirty throughout, and the bathroom setup was especially bad. I saw two cockroaches, only one of the four bathrooms had a working light, and there was just one toilet for six capsules. No amenities were supplied beyond watered-down soap. There was also CCTV in the bathroom hallway, which felt completely unnecessary for watching people leave the toilet. My capsule wasn’t in good shape either: the sheet was stained, the mini safe was broken, and the blue light didn’t work. They also ask for a 100k deposit. I didn’t expect much for the price, but I did expect it to be clean.

The location is handy, with a busway terminal right outside and several malls nearby. Kelapa Gading Mall is reachable by busway. The hot water worked well, and the AC was cold, though you can’t adjust it separately for each pod. They provide water and towels, but the towels had a strong smell. There’s no kitchen, and several pod locks are broken. The area around the bathroom smelled strange and disgusting. Fine for a night or two, but staying longer could be quite painful.

The room was clean, with a convenience store and several places to eat nearby. Velbak transit is close, although it was being renovated during my stay. It suited a solo traveler staying briefly. One concern: the sleeping pod doesn’t lock from the outside, so don’t leave valuables in it when you go out.

The pod was cozy and fairly clean, but mine felt hot. I’m not sure, but it seemed like the air conditioner wasn’t working.
