My room at RedDoorz near Taman Anggrek was clean and cost just IDR 210,000 for the night. The AC and TV both worked, though the hot water pressure was weak. The room looked older than the more modern rooms nearby and the ones shown on the website, and it seemed not to have been renovated yet. There wasn’t even a clothes hanger. A clear panel at the top of the door let hallway light shine onto the bed, which made sleeping difficult. I checked in at 2 AM after a late flight, and the 24 hour front desk made that easy. The motel is in a busy area with street food hawkers around, and there’s a laundry service across the street. For the price and location, it’s practical for a short stay if you’re not too fussy about the details.

The room was clean and neat, and the very soft bed sheet made sleeping comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. There’s basement parking for non-sedan cars, plus a grocery store next door. The surrounding area is a great food spot, with lots of food along the road just outside. One thing to keep in mind: despite the name, it’s not walking distance to Taman Anggrek, so you’ll need a ride to get there.

The location was convenient, and the hotel was clean during our three-day stay. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Thanks to the RedDoorz staff for keeping the place tidy. We’d happily stay again, especially for the price.

For 170k, the cheapest room, you can book right there without an application. It has a lounge room, AC, and a queen bed for two. The bathroom was clean, with a shower and no bathtub. The TV had Netflix, if you’re lucky.
