The room was so shocking that I forgot to take photos. It was cramped and nothing like the pictures we’d seen in hotel reviews on TikTok or Traveloka. My friend started itching as soon as she walked in, and the toilet had lots of bugs. The furniture was worn, and the sheets were filthy with visible stains. I asked reception for another room, but they offered to clean this one again. We figured that wouldn’t change much, so we canceled and booked somewhere else, losing our money in the process. The one thing going for this place is the low price. Even the road to the hotel is being repaired. Maybe it works if you only need somewhere to leave your luggage and sleep for the night.
I’d think twice before staying here. The reception area is loud, with kids yelling, and you can hear them from the room. The neighborhood also feels a bit sketchy, with construction and empty buildings nearby. There may be cockroaches around, and the pillows smelled damp and sweaty. The towels weren’t great either, so you might want to bring your own. The toilet looked dirty, with hair still visible, and didn’t seem properly cleaned. Honestly, my place feels cleaner.
The service was nice, and it’s pretty close to Ancol/Dufan. But the room was awful. The bed was dirty and left my whole body itchy, and there were cockroaches in the room too.
The train going by shook the room enough to feel like a free massage, haha. The room and toilet both smelled a bit, and I found a stain on the bed along with a bedbug and a cockroach. Getting there with luggage was a pain. There are stairs before the lobby, and the staff didn’t offer to help, they were busy on their phones. Don’t bring big suitcases or lots of bags. They also couldn’t speak even basic English. Ancol is nearby, but the hotel is right beside the road, and there’s no proper parking if you come by car. I stayed for 3 days and 2 nights.
The room was small and had no window, but the bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. It came with two towels, a water heater, sugar, tea, coffee, two bottles of water, two teapots, a spoon, tissue and liquid soap. The hot water worked and the AC was very cold. The TV needed resetting because there was no picture, and the sink was clogged. There were dirty marks on the wall and dust on the headboard and underneath the bed. The place seems new or renovated from an older building. There’s no elevator from the basement, only from the first floor, and the elevators are tiny, with room for four people or two people with their bags. Staff didn’t help with luggage. We arrived at night exhausted, only to find the basement parking unavailable because they were installing stickers on the hotel facade, so we had to carry everything up the stairs ourselves. There’s no restaurant, so no breakfast, and food stalls or restaurants are far away. Ordering online is an option. The owners were friendly, though the staff seemed lazy. It’s near Ancol and Dufan, and the price is affordable.
