The location is strategic, and I'd definitely come back, probably once the renovations are done. The breakfast buffet was appetizing, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Special thanks to Mr. Jerry, the egg station chef, for being so attentive during our stay. Since major renovations are underway, guests have to walk to a gym next door or take a shuttle to another Marriott pool, which was quite a hassle.

For more than IDR 1.5 million a night, this hotel is a joke. The rooms and parking lot are so small for a five-star hotel, haha. If you're bringing a car, trust me, find another hotel. The parking problem people mention in other comments is real. I saw someone say, "I am never disappointed with Marriott hotels, but Sari Pacific is a disappointment," and I agree 100%.

The one issue was the bathroom door design. It opens outward, and a rubber seal at the bottom makes it impossible to put the cotton mat at the shower entrance. When the door opens, water from the glass door drips all over the floor. Not a very thoughtful design. Otherwise, the rooms looked brand new and nicely appointed, and the refurbishment was apparent from the lobby onwards. Staff were polite and seemed genuinely happy to greet guests at any time. The room lights worked well, and the temperature control was effective.

The location is very strategic, near business districts, shopping malls, and key landmarks, so it works well for meetings or a city trip. The rooms are comfortable and well maintained, and the food is delicious with plenty of options. It may not be the biggest five-star hotel in Jakarta.
