Senayan Stay

The location is handy for GBK and other event venues, and check-in and check-out were quick. I paid around Rp 270K for a double room with a shared bathroom. It might cost less on weekdays or when there aren’t big events nearby. But the room wasn’t clean when I arrived at 18.30 WIB, despite 8.5 hours having passed since the previous guest. The bin was full, there was a used mask and plastic bottles on the desk, a used towel on the bed, and the bed hadn’t been made. Even the slippers had been used by the last visitor. The photos in this post show what I found. It left a bad impression, and the front desk staff were neither friendly nor welcoming. The room did smell quite nice at first, and there were plenty of power sockets, so I didn’t need an extension cord. Some bathrooms were fairly clean, but others were dirty and dimly lit. It’s an affordable place to stay in Senayan, but cleanliness is a major concern. I’d bring my own bed cover or liner and sandals to wear inside.

After the Stray Kids’ Dominate Concert, I stayed the night here on Dec 21, 2024. It’s a cozy, humble, affordable place if you’re coming back from a concert in the GBK area. The showers are outside the guest rooms, but they were surprisingly always clean and neat. A good budget stay after a concert.

The price doesn’t feel worth it. WiFi doesn’t work, the shared restrooms and toilets are extremely dirty, and the nightclub next door makes it very noisy. The sheets and towels are heavily stained too.

There are plenty of bathrooms, separated for men and women. I think the men’s side has 10, and even when the hotel was full I could always find one free. There’s also a small mushola for two people, which is useful since praying in the room is difficult. The room itself is small but clean, and has an android TV. It’s an affordable place in a good Senayan location, especially if you’re attending an event near GBK. I’d recommend it, and hope they keep the place clean and prices affordable.
